CareCloud Companion is an application designed to assist healthcare providers in efficiently managing their schedules and accessing patient data from CareCloud while on the move. It serves as a practical tool for providers seeking the convenience of a mobile solution that complements the capabilities and renowned user experience of CareCloud's practice management and electronic health record (EHR) systems. Companion offers a tailored interface optimized for iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch devices.

To utilize Companion, users must be current subscribers of either CareCloud Central, the practice management solution, or CareCloud Charts, the EHR solution.

Key features:

• Create, edit, and cancel appointments
• Check-in and check-out patients
• View personal schedules and multiple resources simultaneously
• Access appointment summaries, including visit details and patient balances
• Review patient demographic information
• View patient documents stored in the CareCloud system (e.g., insurance cards, statements)
• Add or update a patient's avatar photo using the device camera
• Contact patients via phone, SMS, or email directly from the mobile device

CareCloud Charts users with Companion can also:

• Create and send ePrescriptions or print prescriptions directly from their mobile device
• Review and sign incoming electronic lab results
• Approve medication refill requests
• Add clinical images to patient charts using the camera
• Access patient clinical summaries, including medications, problems, allergies, vitals, labs, immunizations, and more
• Retrieve patient clinical documents (e.g., x-rays, encounter notes)
